JOE HORNER

Joe Horner, known as Flower Blocks, is a UK-based photographer and visual artist specialising in vivid, flower-led imagery. A Chelsea School of Art graduate, his work has earned recognition through Portrait of Britain, the Palm Awards, and Portrait of Humanity, and has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Kinfolk, and Nowness.

Raised by an avid gardener, Joe developed an early fascination with flowers and the unexpected reactions that emerge when they are removed from their natural context. That curiosity remains central to his practice.

His work sits at the intersection of natural beauty and surreal tension, inviting viewers to reflect on fragility, resilience, and the connections between things. For Joe, the process of collecting and arranging fleeting blooms is as meaningful as the images themselves, a grounding practice rooted in hope.

We’re delighted to welcome Joe for an evening of insight and storytelling, as he shares behind-the-scenes moments from his work, along with the inspirations and creative processes that shape it. It promises to be a truly inspiring experience - one not to be missed.
